In addition to providing world class engineering and design services, Inventure Engineering and Machine, LLC, (IEM) has an internal machine shop complete with modern CNC machining equipment.  Our precision machine shop operates as both a job shop where we make parts to your existing designs or drawings, as well as an extension of our product development suite of services.  We offer CNC Milling and CNC Lathe work, as well as conventional machining operations.

Our machine shop utilizes modern CAD/CAM software to program the CNC machines to improve efficiency and increase finished part quality.  We can work directly from your 2D drawings or 3D solid model files.  Assuming we understand your finished tolerances, we do not need 2D mechanical drawings – which will save you time on rapid development projects.  Also, revision changes to your part within our CAD/CAM system are quick and easy, so we do not have to ‘start over’ and reprogram the entire part each time.

Beyond the precision machine shop, we offer fabrication and assembly services.  We have many clients that order turnkey machines, where we manage the build including: off the shelf (OTS) and outside custom parts procurement, then add our machined parts to assemble the final machine or device.  Whenever possible, we prefer to perform the assembly and test of each project.  For the client, this creates a single point of accountability and confidence in the final solution.  For IEM, it’s just our way of doing business and we enjoy the satisfaction of ‘finishing the job’.

Dad used to say: "If we don’t have time to do it right the first time, when will we have time to fix it?"
